I'm going through my jars way too fast, which I concede is probably a mark of success in terms of developing a delicious product! I'm a big fan of apple slices with peanut butter, and have been swapping out the peanut butter for black sesame crunchy butter this week – and my first jar is almost gone already. It's tasty, but for a product that costs three times more than even the "fancy" peanut butter I buy, I can't justify putting it into my daily rotation permanently if I'm going to be burning through a jar a week.
I'd definitely buy this black sesame crunchy butter again, but only if I had some sort of special use in mind for it. For most baking projects, I'd rather just grind my own black sesame seeds – this should be saved for a context where the crunchy texture and peanutty notes will really shine.
