Crunchy Black Sesame Butter

The thing is so expensive but I love black sesame so I bought it and hoped I would hate it. I put it on vanilla ice cream and damn if it wasn't the best black sesame ice cream ever. It's not that sweet so if you put it on something sweet you really just add the flavor without over the top sugar.

Ugh, so good.

I bought 5 jars before the holidays, originally to give as Christmas gifts, but since I am a HUGE black sesame fan, I had to open one to try. I ended up only giving away 2 as gifts. I use it on everything!!! On toast, on my protein shakes, on top of a homemade oatmeal cookie…it’s good on anything! Now I want to try all the other butters to see if they’re anywhere near as good as this one.

When craving a little snack or just want to add some sweetness and crunch this is a go to in the pantry. There’s something similar at Costco but most the time you can’t find it or it’s out (depending on location) definitely will get more before it runs out

Haven’t figured how to cook/bake with the black sesame butter. So for the time being, I am eating it by little spoon full. Heavenly !
