Sauces with a Cause
We share profits for every sauce sold with the immigrant chef who created it. We aim to celebrate diverse cultures & democratize the way immigrant communities earn money by allowing them to share their foods beyond their restaurants with avid eaters and cooks, like you!
Meet the Chef
Wenling is a first-generation immigrant chef who moved from Sichuan, China to L.A. in 1999 with a dream. After years working in Chinese restaurants, she opened up a cozy noodle shop called Cup of Noodles. Rooted Fare is honored to partner with Wenling to create flavorful and legacy-packed sauces you can enjoy at home!

Quick & Delicious Recipe Ideas
Crispy, Pan-Fried Steam Bun with Avocado and Tomato
5-Minute Nutty Black Sesame Ice Cream Sandwich
This Dan Dan sauce is such a good staple! I add it to so many of my vegetable dishes and it really rounds out what would normally be a pretty plain side and gives it a deeper, more savory flavor.
"My New Favorite Sauce"
[Dried Chili Sichuan Dressing] has the kind of spice and flavor that adds to the taste of the dish rather than burning my mouth. It's sweet with a little kick and I used it on some stir fry dishes, chicken, and more. I can't wait for my next bottle.
"Simple Ingredients and Incredibly Delicious"
This is my first time trying black sesame crunchy butter and I gotta say- I reach for this more often than any of my other stocked nut butters.
