Ingredients

1 package croissant dough, thawed
- Oil
- Fila Manila Ube Coconut Spread
- Rooted Fare’s Crunchy Black Sesame Butter
- Berries, optional
- Whipped cream, optional
- Maple syrup or agave, optional
Directions
Preheat the waffle maker until hot.
- Roll out croissant dough and separate dough triangles on pre-perforated lines.
- Smear about 1 tbsp of Ube Coconut Spread or Crunchy Black Sesame Butter on triangles, leaving about half an inch of space from the edges. Gently roll, starting from widest side.
- Once waffle maker is hot, grease the iron. Place the stuffed croissant on the iron and cook for 1.5 to 3 minutes, until golden brown.
- Top with your favorite toppings, like berries, whipped cream, and syrup. For more flavor, add spreads to the top. Enjoy!
Recipe Note
Don’t overstuff your croissants or the filling may leak out! Replace with your favorite fillings and try it with fruit. Store in the freezer and pop into a toaster oven when you’re ready to eat them again.
