Directions
Tapioca Pearls
In a small pot over high heat, bring water to a boil.
Add tapioca pearls and let water come back to a boil. Reduce the heat and let tapioca pearls simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Strain the boba and rinse under cold water.
Brown Sugar Syrup
In a small pot over medium-low heat, combine water and brown sugar. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes or until it begins to thicken.
Add tapioca pearls and simmer for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
Black Sesame Milk
In a small cup or bowl, mix together the milk, Black Sesame Crunchy Butter, and sweetener of choice until combined.
Ube Milk
In a medium cup or bowl, add the milk, heavy cream, ube halaya, and ube extract.
Whisk or use milk frother until slightly thickened.
Assembly
In a large cup, add brown sugar tapioca pearls and ice.
Pour in black sesame milk.
Top with ube milk. Enjoy!
