    The color is fascinating: like freshly poured asphalt. Flavor is on point: not as sweet as the other two nut butter products,and the sesame is the star. Texture is uniformly nutty; you can’t find a dull spot of smoothness in it. Not demure, very mindful. Somehow I want to incorporate this with mochi - I will eagerly await recipes

    Deserves the highest compliment from an Asian — NOT TOO SWEET!

    I am a sucker for black sesame but it’s not easy to find rich black sesame spread or desserts in the US. Listen, this black sesame butter is LEGIT. Crunchy, nutty and very lightly sweetened. At my first bite I found it not sweet enough, but it grew on me. The sweetness level is just perfect for breakfast without having the sickly sweet aftertaste. Will repurchase and experiment it with different recipes.
