At first, it was like "it's good, but is it $13-a-jar good?" But then every now and then, you'd itch for it. Overall, it's got a chock full of black sesame flavor, so mission accomplished on that front. I have put it on toast/bagel w/eggs and avocado, drizzled onto pancake batter, even did a mock "tofu fa + ji ma wu" dessert with it. So far so good! Honestly, don't mind the crunch and probably won't miss it. Maybe a "smooth" version (like PB) would also be a good alternative? And if they'd ever entertain the thought of making it gluten-free (ie. sans crunch), it may appeal to even broader audience, since we can literally put this stuff in a lot of baking items (ex. cookies, pancakes, cupcakes/muffins, etc).

I absolutely LOVE this and finished my first jar within a week. It tasted amazing on milk bread. Will be doing black sesame Rice Krispies with the sesame butter. I’ve recommended this to several of my friends and they loved it.
