Black sesame oreo rice krispies with mochi has quickly become my go-to “I need to fulfill my sweet tooth right now” dessert. It only takes 10 minutes to make and requires just a microwave. I have been so awed and amazed at the rise of aapi (and particularly female-owned) businesses. Inspired by desserts created by two wonderful women – cookies from Christine Liu (of christine’s cookie co.) and mochi krispies from Tiffany Kim (of loaf language), I created a version of rice krispies that incorporates all my favorites – Rooted Fare’s black sesame crunchy butter, mochi, and oreos! They are sweet and with nutty notes.
