Not only is it an Instagram-worthy treat, it's also well-balanced with umami, slightly sweet, and delightful heat (if you so choose). The "cherry" on top is crispy shallots from our friends at Onionkid.

Directions
Visualize your checkerboard on a piece of toast — this’ll help you plan out how many rows and how large you want each “square”.
Starting from the top left of the toast, use the back of your spoon to smear (from top to bottom) one square of whipped cream cheese.
To the right of the whipped cream cheese, use your spoon to drizzle a small amount of Seaweed Sesame Cashew Butter. Smear to make one square.
Repeat alternating between the whipped cream cheese and the Seaweed Sesame Cashew Butter until your “checkerboard” is finished.
Drizzle on chili oil and top with Crispy Shallots.
